Complete Fécamp in one day
Quick Facts
This intensive itinerary takes you through all of Fécamp's major landmarks in one action-packed day, from medieval churches to dramatic clifftop viewpoints. Start at the historic Saint Stephen Church overlooking the harbor, then explore the ruins of the Ducal Palace where William the Conqueror celebrated his victory at Hastings. Continue to the magnificent Abbey of the Holy Trinity, one of France's longest churches at 127 meters, before visiting the stunning Palais Bénédictine with its museum and famous liqueur tasting. After a relaxing walk along the pebble beach, discover Fécamp's maritime heritage at the Fisheries Museum with panoramic views from its glass belvedere. End your day at Cap Fagnet, the highest point of the Alabaster Coast, where spectacular views await at sunset. Important: The Fisheries Museum is closed on Tuesdays from mid-September to April. Palais Bénédictine opens at 11:00 and closes for lunch 12:30-14:00 - plan your morning accordingly. The Ducal Palace interior requires a guided tour booked through the Tourist Office. Total walking distance is approximately 5 km.
