This itinerary covers all major attractions of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, a charming Norman fishing village voted France's Favorite Village in 2019. The route includes two UNESCO-listed Vauban towers, a maritime museum on Tatihou Island, and historic churches. Tatihou Island is accessible by amphibious boat or on foot at low tide; advance booking required as visitor numbers are limited to 500 per day. Note that the Vauban Tower of La Hougue is open July-September only, and Fort de la Hougue opens at 13:30. Best visited Tuesday-Sunday as some sites are closed on Mondays.
